I have the honor to report that from the Right Honorable the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs I have received copies of correspondence between the Foreign and Colonial offices from which I learn that no objection is offered by you to the appointment of Mr. A. B. Hillier, Chief Magistrate of Police, to the office of Her Majesty's Consul at Bangkok.
